IPhone Unlimited Data Plans Get Slammed
Carriers offering unlimited data plans which have limits is nothing new, but you’d hope they would get the message once Verizon settled its dispute over the practice. Apparently not… Engadget has a screencap of T-Mobile’s planned data pricing for the iPhone, showing that “depending on which plan you select—M, L or XL—you’re limited to 200MB, 1GB or 5GB of data, after which your data speeds are limited to 64Kbps, instead of EDGE’s traditional 220Kbps max”. I realise that technically that’s still unlimited data, but it’s not unlimited EDGE—which is what people would be looking for after paying full price for an iPhone.
