InfoGin Raises Third Round Of Over $10 Million

InfoGin, the Israeli mobile content adaption platform provider, has raised more than $10 million in a third round of funding from Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Coral Capital Management, according to the company’s VP of Operations Gil Ilani. The eight-year old company provides carriers with server technology that automatically adapts web pages to a number of mobile handsets. It also provides tools to content providers to create mobile-optimized sites. The company has also signed a deal with Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT), in which Microsoft will use InfoGin’s Intelligent Mobile Platform (IMP) to adapt all web sites reached via Microsoft’s Live Search Mobile service.
