Industry Moves: Nokia Appoints Elizabeth Schimel Head of Mobile Music

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) has hired former Comcast (NSDQ: CMCSA) SVP Elizabeth Schimel as head of global music, Billboard.biz reports. Schimel, who oversaw content development at Comcast, will lead its mobile music activities within its Entertainment & Communities division. She reports to Nokia EVP of the group. Before joining Comcast in 2005, Schimel was VP of business development for multimedia services at AT&T (NYSE: T) Wireless, the forerunner of Cingular and AT&T Mobility.
