Industry Moves: Millennial Media Appoints Digital Media Guru Wenda Harris Millard To The Board

imageBaltimore-based Millennial Media, which is one of the largest mobile ad networks in the U.S., has appointed digital media and advertising veteran Wenda Harris Millard to its board of directors. Millard, who is now president of Media Link, a advisory firm for companies in media, entertainment, marketing and advertising, will offer her expertise in the digital advertising industry and provide guidance on the company’s strategic direction and expansion plan, the company said.

Before becoming president of Media Link, Millard has served in high-profile positions in digital media companies. Most recently, she was co-CEO of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (NYSE: MSO), and before that was Yahoo’s Chief Sales Officer. She was also chief internet officer at Ziff-Davis Media and EVP and co-founder of DoubleClick. Millard: “Mobile advertising is poised to take off in the next few years as the industry continues to mature and the customer adoption of smart phones increases.”
