iMeem Adds Streaming To Android Mobile App
Social music service iMeem may be on the block, but that hasn’t kept it from tinkering with its mobile platform. The latest upgrade includes MyMusic, a feature that lets users stream their iMeem library through Android-powered phones; it also includes the option to create stations from artists and songs users have dubbed “favorites,” and the ability to share music links via email.

The free app is available through Google’s Android Market, where it had already gained traction as one of the most downloaded applications last year. S.F.-based imeem put itself up for sale in late October; the company said it felt it would do better as part of a larger company, particularly given the hype around the integration of social media and music.
