IceBreaker Gets $7.2 Million First Round Funding

Seattle-based mobile social networking start-up IceBreaker has raised $7.2 million in first round funding. The round was co-led by Frazier Technology Ventures and existing investor Lightspeed Venture Partners. IceBreaker runs the mobile site Crush or Flush, following the winning Hot-or-Not of letting people upload photos to get voted on. It claims to have 20 million monthly page views and more than 150,000 registered mobile members, with each member using the service an average of twice a week and staying on 20 minutes at a time.
