HarbourVest Takes Stake In Mobile Messaging Firm TynTec

British-German mobile messaging operator TynTec has raised a “significant minority investment” from global VC HarbourVest Partners, it announced today. The six-year old company—which counts a number of operators and brands such as BA, O2 and Lufthansa as customers—will use the money to expand into Asia, the Middle East and Africa. HarbourVest’s Alex Rogers and Claudio Siniscalco will be joining TynTec’s board of directors (release).
