Google’s Page: “Pretty Happy” With FCC’s 700 MHz Auction Rules; No “Desperate Need”

Just a quick note while I’m listening to the Google (NSDQ: GOOG) earnings call: Larry Page said the company has “been pretty happy” with the FCC’s rules for the upcoming 700 MHz auction. But he stressed that the company has multiple options in terms of spectrum: “I don’t think we see any desperate need to bid to win ... the money’s not burning a hole in our pockets.”
