Google Insists That Android Is On Time

imageGoogle’s (NSDQ: GOOG) Android platform is probably on time—that is, if you define “during the second-half of this year” as the very last few days of December. Google is denying that its mobile operating system is facing any delays after it was reported on Sunday that the Google-backed mobile OS was having trouble integrating the platform between handset makers and operators. The report said that the original launch with T-Mobile USA was scheduled for second half of this year, but has now been delayed to late Q4. Today, Google insists everything is on track with product launches expected in the second half of the year, reports The Independent. “We are on schedule and we’re very excited to see the momentum continuing to build behind the Android platform among carriers, manufacturers, developers and consumers,” a spokeswoman told the paper.
