Giant Prevails In Lawsuit Against LFP

Giant Mobile has won its case against Larry Flynt Productions, after the pornography producer terminated a mobile distribution contract. The case was started almost two years ago with Giant claiming that LFP manufactured excuses to terminate the agreement solely to sign a more lucrative agreement with Mobival. The judge apparently agreed, and “awarded Giant Mobile a significant sum of lost profits as a result of LFP’s breach of the Exclusive Distribution Agreement”. The actual figure isn’t given, but the amount sued for was $23 million. LFP countersued Giant, but from the sound of this that case (if it’s still around) is unlikely to be successful. (release)
