Fox Reality Channel Takes Programming Mobile On iPhone

It’s not all prime time programming, but Fox Reality Channel is stepping up to the plate with a new push for the iPhone nonetheless. There’s been a glaring absence of big entertainment brands on the App Store since it launched and this, unfortunately, doesn’t move the needle any further in that regard. The cable and satellite network has simply optimized its website for the iPhone. And so the wait continues for a big bet from Hollywood on the App Store. Fox Reality Channel is making its programming available on mobile for the first time along with advertising opportunities relevant to the platform. The network claims this will be the first mobile video service to feature reality-only content, although I’m sure some budding filmmakers on YouTube might disagree. The site will also include a send-to-friend feature, favorites and an improved search. Release.
