FCC Names Wireless Bureau Staff
FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski has appointed four new senior-level staff members to the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, mostly hiring people who have played roles with the bureau in the past, reports BroadcastingCable.com.

Ruth Milkman, who is currently leading the FCC’s transition effort in the chairman’s office, has been named the wireless bureau chief. Previously, she was a staff member under FCC Chairman Reed Hundt back in the mid-90s, serving both as senior legal adviser and former deputy chief of the Common Carrier and International Bureaus. Also appointed was James Schlichting, who has been named senior deputy chief of the bureau; Renee Roland Crittendon, who has been named deputy chief; and John Leibovitz, who has also been named deputy chief.
