Japanese internet service company Rakuten has formed a joint venture with search company Fast Search & Transfer to develope mobile search and advertising services in Japan…Rakuten FAST Mobile Search will be an equal joint venture with total capital and capital reserve of 800 million yen (US$6.9 million). “Mobile search services will initially be rolled out to Rakuten mobile sites this year, and subsequently be offered to third parties on an OEM basis, according to officials,” reports BizJournals.
