Emotive Raises $6.25 Million In Second Round; Acquires Sennari Entertainment
Mobile entertainment developer Emotive Communications has raised $6.25 million in a second round. The funding was led by Mayfield Fund while D.E. Shaw Ventures and Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments contributed. The Los Angeles-based company also announced that it has acquired mobile game developer Sennari Entertainment, which emphasizes prize-play gaming, micro payments and virtual currency transactions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Release.
