Electronic Arts has launched EA Sports Link, a mobile site that connects EA Sports game fans with news about games and sports, and will eventually host an EA Sports community. The sports fans will be able to access their favorite team’s scores, updates, news and games. In the future, users will be able to trade information and challenge each other to live games.
The service is being launched on Cingular Wireless for now, and will roll out on other in the coming months. Details in release.
In related news, we have been hearing rumors about head of EA Mobile Mitch Lasky (former CEO of Jamdat) leaving soon, and joining a big name VC firm. Last year in September we broke the news about the other three co-founder of Jamdat leaving EA Mobile.
