3UK Launches New Version of YouTube Mobile: 3UK and YouTube have struck a deal in which the network operator will roll out a new, enhanced version of YouTube Mobile in the UK, according to Pocket-lint. The new version, which has improved video streaming, and local content, is available exclusively to 3 and only in the UK. 3 has given the video service a prominent position on its 3 Launcher and on Planet 3, its mobile web portal, saying that YouTube content is no more than two clicks away.

Oxy Systems Launches phling! MusicStash: Mobile application provider Oxy Systems has launched phling! MusicStash, which lets subscribers of the mobile music community phling! stream music they already own from their PC to their mobile phone, even while their PC is turned off. Phling! MusicStash acts as a virtual “locker” using Amazon’s Web Services as the storage medium and can be accessed at anytime. The service is currently free to phling! subscribers (release).

Napster (NSDQ: NAPS) Launches in Chile: Digital music retailer Napster and Swedish telecoms equipment maker Ericsson (NSDQ: ERIC) have launched Napster’s mobile music service in Chile with the country’s network operator Entel. Music can be downloaded either directly to a subscribers phones or onto their PCs (release).
