UK-based mobile game company Connect2Media is developing its own TV shows, apparently in a move to control the initial content that it would otherwise seek to buy a license for. CTO and co-founder of Connect2Media Peter Scott told Crain’s Manchester Business that while TV production firms often talked about developing a 360-degree vision they rarely did so. “We want to get up the food chain and gain a greater share of the revenue if ideas are successful,” Scott told Crain’s. “We’re looking to produce content that will properly complement and offer additional experiences…We’ll look at how we can take it and move it to other platforms.”
