Virgin Mobile USA has signed Capcom Interactive to be the sole aggregator and manager of WAP game titles on Virgin Mobile’s wireless network. WAP games operate through the mobile browser and don’t require a Java or Brew download. Currently Capcom has Shade, Big Trivia, Cosmic Casino, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Six Degrees, Dope Warz and Bots on Virgin, and more games are planned. The two companies also have a promotion where people who subscribe to the Games Lite channel for $3.99 a month can get the chance to win Xbox 360s and iPods. It may attract gamers and music lovers to the service, but then gives away competing products.
