Buongiorno Buys Agency Assets of Flytxt For $5.44 Million

A heavy mobile content deals day, it seems: Buongiorno, the Italy-headquartered multinational mobile content firm, has bought UK and US agency operations of Flytxt, the UK-headquartered mobile marketing and advertising firm. The newly formed Buongiorno Marketing Services Ltd. (in UK) and Buongiorno Marketing Services Inc. (U.S.) will retain all agency clients and the Flytxt agency team. The acquisition price: about $5.44 million.

Flytxt was founded in 2000…it raised about $2 million early last year and restructured, moving away from content services and focusing on marketing. Buongiorno recently bought Dutch mobile marketing firm HotSMS for a similar price.
