Big Brother 8 will be broadcast on a dedicated channel on the Verizon VCast Mobile TV service continuosly for the last four weeks of the show. This is in addition to the other Big Brother programming and content that CBS Mobile has put out. It seems to be another example of a temporary channel Qualcomm is trying with MediaFLO, where special events are given their own channel—the last was the X Games. In this case the channel should be popular—although Big Brother is not as popular as it was its fans are pretty, well, fanatical, and the content is tailor-made for mobile, being a continuous stream that you can dip into and out of.
