AT&T (NYSE: T) has launched My MEdia Net, an extension of its mobile web service which lets people personalize and manage their mobile home page on a PC. It’s a good idea (and obvious enough that it shouldn’t be new) and not just for people who aren’t used to using the mobile web—as well as being easier (drag-and-drop) it saves on data charges. AT&T customers can use the service to personalize a home page to track sports scores, receive news and weather updates, check stock quotes and add bookmarks. It synchronizes automatically with the mobile web page. (release)
