We’re pleased to announce that Courtney Holt, president of MySpace Music, will be featured in our Keynote Q&A at our upcoming EconMusic conference. This will be Holt’s first U.S. speaking engagement since being selected for the post back in November and officially joining the company earlier this month.

Holt most recently served as EVP of digital music for the MTV Networks (NYSE: VIA) Music and Logo Group. During his time at the company, he helped broker the creation of Rhapsody America, a JV between MTV and RealNetworks (NSDQ: RNWK). He also worked to develop the Rhapsody America and Verizon (NYSE: VZ) partnership.

EconMusic, a half-day conference, will take place during the afternoon of Feb. 5 at the Harry Chandler Auditorium inside the Los Angeles Times Building in downtown L.A. The event will feature discussions on the latest trends, deals and hot topics in the digital music industry.
