Apple and AT&T Settle Patent Lawsuit Over Visual Voicemail
Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) and AT&T (NYSE: T) have settled its lawsuit with patent-holding company Klausner Technologies, which alleged that the iPhone’s “visual voicemail” technology had infringed patents it held, reports AP. Apple’s voicemail allows users to see who’s left them messages and answer them in any order they choose. The case was resolved after AT&T and Apple agreed to license the technology. The companies are now asking that the courts dismiss the case.
