Apisphere Acquires LBS Developer Navit Innovations

Apisphere said today it has agreed to acquire Navit Innovations, a San-Francisco-based GPS developer. Apisphere of Berkeley, Calif., which builds technology to deliver mobile content when a user enters a specific location, said the acquisition will add valuable RF engineering talent, embedded application development, navigation software engineering and hardware development to its team. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
