Amdocs To Acquire Changing Worlds For $60 Million In Cash

Billing firm Amdocs has signed an agreement to acquire Changing Worlds, which offers everything from personalized portals to mobile advertising and search. Under the deal, Amdocs will acquire all of the private company’s shares for $60 million in cash. Additional payments may be made later based on certain performance metrics. The companies expect the deal to close by the end of the year. Where Changing World’s technology currently focuses on mobile devices, Amdocs hopes to expand the technology to PCs and television as well. The companies already share several customers including Sprint (NYSE: S), Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) and Telefonica (NYSE: TEF) O2. Release.
